Synopses

In Slovenia 9500 caves are known, many of them only partly explored. Discovering these caves is one of the last adventurous quests in modern times.

We follow three speleologists exploring the most spectacular caves ever seen by humans, the “underworld” of Slovenia. Gigantic canyons, rivers and waterfalls, form a gothic underworld landscape with a vast dimension. As we watch the Slovenian scientists by their daily work, we learn that these caves also contain a treasure for our heirs, pure clean drinking water.
