Synopses
Part 2 reveals the most stunning facets of Bangladesh: Vacation destinations on the Gulf of Bengali of such beauty as one might only dream - as, for example Cox Bazaar, one of the longest sand beaches in the World; or, the coral island St. Martin at the country's southernmost point. Most residents rely upon fishing and the coconut harvest to earn their living. Neither electricity nor even automobiles are to be found here. The film next focuses on the Sundarbans. This 6000 square kilometer region located along the border with India is home to one of the world's largest swamplands. This enchanted and remarkable landscape is the habitat of the endangered Bengal Tiger population. Only 400 of these fascinating predators remain; and if seen at all, then most likely at night ....
