A resident of Bali, Made Wijaya must be counted the most exotic representative of today's finest garden artists. To date, the 50 year old garden designer has been responsible for the creation of more than 700 tropical gardens, the majority in Southeast Asia. When one considers Made Wijaya's work, the central theme is clearly "controlled jungle." With a remarkable style sense, the native Australian combines many hundreds of plant species into his garden designs. Wijaya's creativity, the climatic conditions of the Tropics and the budget of his clients allow him to create elaborate gardens which bring to mind the mythical Garden of Eden. The documentary presents many of the most dramatic gardens which Made Wijaya has created on Bali.
