Synopses

On the westernmost extension of the Sierra Morena mountains lies the thinly populated Sierra de Aracena. The region is rich in cork oaks, olives and wild boars, the source of the famous Serrano ham. Santiago Campos-Dominguez is an "Hombre del Campo" - a man of this land. He radiates a quiet but strong bond to nature. Even at 79 years of age, he daily drives his goats to and from their meadow pastures. And Santiago has a passion: he writes poetry. His texts reflect his philosophy and world view. Candidly and with cunning he explores and illuminates the many large and small injustices of his immediate environment and of the world more generally. He is a philosopher of the Sierras.
